Slamming the door on hackers

How do you protect your home from the outside world? Easy you say, lock the door and close the windows. How about your IT systems? This is not as straight forward as you think.

In the home you may have several devices from phones, tablets, computers, televisions and even the connected devices (for casting television, fridges, thermostats and so on). With more and more devices, are you keeping a track of what is on and what shouldn't be?

How about the corporate network? In the office there is a lot more to think about from wireless access, guest access, plugging in devices using a cable. Who maintains the security of your systems?

What about the computer security and stopping viruses? There is the issue of staff who have left for the day connecting in at night and most importantly past employees. Do you change passwords to critical systems?

When it comes to strangers, we locked the doors and windows, but what more can be done to stop people outside connecting in? Our team have been working with IT systems for the last 20 years and could save you the headache or working this out. You can contact the team on 01489 290 001 for more information.
